The Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA), founded in 2002, organizes the National Conference ACOUSTICS every two years, an event that has established itself as the main scientific gathering for the presentation and discussion of developments in the field of acoustics in Greece. The 13th conference, “ ACOUSTICS 2026," is organized by the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics in collaboration with the International Hellenic University and will take place from October 16 to 18, 2026, at the International Hellenic University campus in Thermi, Thessaloniki.

The main objective of the conference is to highlight the research and scientific work produced in the field of acoustics by Greek scientists and research teams, as well as to present recent theoretical and applied approaches across the broad spectrum of acoustic science. At the same time, the conference aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among different fields related to acoustics, such as environmental acoustics, architectural acoustics, electroacoustics, music technology, audio signal processing, and modern technological applications of sound.
