"Dear ICA Members,

We are pleased to inform you that the deadline for the International Year of Sound Award for Outstanding Outreach Activity, promoted by the International Commission for Acoustics (ICA), has been extended up to the end of July 2025.

This award represents a significant opportunity to recognise and promote the most impactful initiatives aimed at outreach, dissemination, and awareness-raising in the field of acoustics. We wish to emphasise how crucial your participation is in highlighting and sharing best practices that contribute to advancing public understanding of acoustics worldwide.

Please remember that all activities organised, promoted, or sponsored by ICA Member Societies during 2024 are eligible to be considered for this award. We strongly encourage you to submit your outstanding initiatives and ensure that your valuable efforts receive the international visibility they deserve.

The award will be accompanied by an amount of € 1,000 and a certificate of achievement, and will be presented at an appropriate ICA event.
